The 'Bigg Boss Ultimate' show that is halfway through seems to have slowed down due to lack of interest and viewers allege that things seemed a bit unfocused in recent episodes. Niroop and his ex-girlfriend Abhirami Venkatachalam being on the show together was expected to fire up proceedings but the duo seem to be firm on their separation and do not give a chance for any rekindling of romance.

It has been rumored among the contestants of 'Bigg Boss Ultimate' that Abhirami is getting close to Balaji Murugadoss and this has apparently upset Niroop. The model has lamented to Vanitha that Bala is often pinching his ex-girlfriend Abhirami right in front of his eye. Vanitha is then seen consoling Niroop in her own unique style. Abhirami and Niroop were in a romantic relationship for three years in the past before breaking up due to various issues.

Bala on the other hand explained about the issue to Thamaraiselvi stating that one should not speak without knowing the whole thing and that Vanitha is behaving in a very unwoman like manner. He also added that the 'Bigg Boss Ultimate' contestants do not know the difference between friendship and love. He also stressed that keeping Abhirami's future in his mind is the reason for not discussing about it.
