The content provider Abishek was evicted from the Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5 for the second time. He was eliminated on day 21 and came back to the house as a wild card entrant on day 50. Abishek was eliminated again on day 63with his first most nomination.

The new week began with the captaincy task. Amir won the captain post but Pavni snatched the position using her coin power as Niroop did to Imman Annachi last week. But the next promo hints that Pavni is given a penalty to be the helper to the housemates by the Bigg Boss. We see that Akshara and Pavni having an argument over the penalty.

The video had Akshara saying to Pavni, "You are a helper, right? You can do this job. Come on." Pavni sarcastically asks, "Do you want tea or coffee? Or do you want me to clean your bed?" Akshara explains to her, "You can do any help to the three girls. They did not specify it as personal help or something. So you have to do whatever help I ask you. That is your penalty."

Pavni replies, "in that case, you will give all of your work to me." To which Akshara responds, "I just casually asked to fulfil your penalty but you are already overreacting and it was actually funny." Pavni tried to interrupt but Akshara continues, "I just asked because you are given the penalty by Bigg Boss." Pavni tries to give excuses to escape from the penalty.
