'Bigg Boss Tamil 7' show had a comparitively tame Diwali weekend after the Pradeep Antony red card elimination last week. Aishu one of the youngest contestants in the house who gave some romantic moments with Nixen was evicted. Host Kamal Haasan's experiments with his genderless outfits also became a talking point apart from the criticisms on him for the manner in which he handled the Pradeep issue.

Now another week has started and the first promo threw a surprise in the form of two 'Cooku With Comali' celebrities in the house. They are none other than Vijay TV regulars Pugazh and Shrusti Dange. The new Captain Dinesh is shown reading today's task and a pensive looking Pugazh and Shrusti are seen amongst the contestants.

This has raised speculations as to whether the two CWC stars are the new wild card entries in 'BB7' or they have come into the house to promote one of their upcoming movies.

In this situation today the contestants are given the task of lighting firecrackers. Each contestant has to take a cracker and equate it to the speech style of other contestants. First, Vichitra presents Poornima with a firecracker that says 'Explodes in one place, scatters in one place'. Maya took the firecracker and gave it to Archana saying, 'You might think it will fly and explode, but it will crawl.' After this, today's promo ends with showing the celebrities coming to take the firecrackers.
