The third season of the TV reality show, Bigg Boss, kick-started on June 23 and is being hosted by veteran actor Kamal Haasan for the third consecutive time.

Vanitha, who was evicted in the third week, re-entered the house as a wild-card contestant and was yet again eliminated a couple of weeks later. During her second stint in the show, Madhumitha was disqualified and evicted after she inflicted self-injury following an altercation with the rest of the contestants. Although nobody knows exactly what happened or why Madhu decided to injure herself, Vanitha, in a recent live chat with the audience, talked in brief about the issue.

She started off by saying that Madhu was one of her favourite contestants in the show, and if she had remained in the house, she would've had Vanitha's support along with Cheran. Calling it a "foolish step", Vanitha also claims that Madhu slashed her arm over ten times in a bid for attention and that nobody was to blame besides Madhu herself.

She adds that some of the things Kasthuri claimed in her interviews regarding the issue were not true. Vanitha further states that Losliya was "fretting and shivering" after the incident as it reminded her of the trauma she faced while witnessing her sister's suicide.
