Bigg Boss Tamil season 5 hosted by Kamal Haasan was launched on October 3 and the house is filled with emotions since the first day. Fans who were waiting for some drama in the house are now heartbroken by hearing some of the stories of the housemates in the first task.

Pavni Reddy of Chinna Thambi serial frame made us all shed some tears while she opened up about the death of her husband. In yesterdays episode Isaivani and Chinnu Ponnnu also shared about their difficult days with the housemates and audience.

As the task continued Suruthi Periyasamy said that she was happy when her father dies which came as a shock to everyone. But the reason behind the statement pushed the housemates into tears.

She said, "My grandfather and father are of the same age. My mom was married to him as a gesture of gratitude as he helped my grandpa by providing financial support during the tough times. My father had five children from his first married most of whom were older than my mother. I was an unwanted child for my father. He would always lock us away in a room. I was 11 when my father died but I didn't shed any tears instead I was happy. I felt relieved that my mom and I are finally going to have an independent and happy life."

The task continues today and in the first promo, Namitha Maarimuthu was seen sharing about her life and broke into tears. The 18 contestants of the Bigg Boss season five includes Isaivani, Raju Jeyamohan, Mathumitha, Abishek Raaja. Namitha Marimuthu, Priyanka Deshpande, Abhinay Vaddi, Pavni Reddy, Folk singer Chinnaponnu, Nadia Chang, Varun Kama, Imman Annaachi, Suruthi Jayadevan, Akshara Reddy,  Iykki Berry,  Thamarai Selvi, Ciby and Niroop.
