'Bigg Boss' Shakthi arrested

Actor Shakthi has been arrested and being questioned by the Anna Nagar Station police after it was reported that he had caused a car accident in a drunken state and also hit to passersby. According to reports Shakthi's car was careening out of control in Choolaimedu area in Chennai and after hitting the pedestrians and a parked car he tried to speed away without stopping.
The public had chased Shakthi's car and made him stop only to allegedly find him drunk. After a complaint was registered the Anna Nagar cops took the actor and his vehicle for questioning.
Shakti the son of veteran filmmaker P. Vasu has acted in a few films as hero but became popular after participating as a contestant in 'Bigg Boss' season one hosted by Kamal Haasan where he was nicknamed Trigger.
