The 'Bigg Boss' reality show that locks up celebrities for 100 days and shows the world all the intimacies and controversies that erupt between them is a big hit in India. The Tamil version of the show hosted by Kamal Haasan is into its fifth season while the Hindi hosted by Salman Khan is gearing up for its fifteenth edition.
This year there will be two versions of 'Bigg Boss Hindi' with one that will be streamed on OTT and the usual one will be telecast on Colours TV. Streaming major VOOT has bagged the rights for the new mini version which will be hosted by a different celebrity and the selection process for the contestants has already begun.

Endemol Shine India the producer of 'Bigg Boss' television version will also bankroll the OTT version and it will begin streaming six weeks before the telecast. It is said that viewers will get a one-hour episode as well 24/7 live streaming of the show which the producers hope will be a new experience for viewers.
