Bigg Boss has given many new talents to the film industry and this time it's none other than Niroop Nanda Kumar who participated in the fifth season of Bigg Boss hosted by Kamal Haasan. Niroop is turning into a hero in the new film by director SP Hosimin, who was an assistant of director Shankar and has made films like February 14, Aayiram Vilakku and the yet-to-be-released Sumo.

In a press statement, the makers of the film, which will be directed by Hosimin's associate Vivek Kaiba Pattabhiram, stated, "Bigg Boss Niroop will be acting alongside seven heroines in the film. While Simran Raj will be playing one of the seven female leads, the team is planning to rope in six popular names for the other heroine characters. The supporting cast will include actors Mime Gopi, Manobala, Charles Vinoth and more."

Rainbow is said to be a crucial character in the film. "The script of this fantasy comedy will be racy and it is being made on a big budget," added the release statement. The technical team comprises Subhash Anand who is scoring the music and Vinoth Kumarto crank the camera.

The film was launched in Chennai yesterday and the poojai was graced by Cinematographer-director Ravi Varman, Ayalaan director R Ravikumar, R Madesh (of Madhurey fame), Niroop's fellow Bigg Boss Tamil contestants Abhinay and Suresh Chakravarthy, and Japanese businessman Kurinji Selvan
