In a shocking turn of events, Dr.Rajith Kumar, the most popular contestant of Bigg Boss Malayalam season 2, has been evicted from the show.  

As you know, Rajith was temporarily suspended from the reality show for assaulting co-contestant Reshma by applying chilli on her eyes. While fans and audience were equally shocked by his action, there was high hope on his comeback to the show in the weekend episode. Ever since Rajith's disappearance, there were also rumours doing the round that Rajith was being kept in a "secret isolated room", as a part of the show's task. However, from Saturday's episode, it was clarified that the reality show was against Rajith's unjust act. 

Rajith was evicted permanently from the house after Reshma said she doesn’t want him there anymore. With the unexpected exit of Rajith, his fans and few celebrities have created ripples across social media. This has also lead to a severe cyber-attack against the show's host and actor Mohanlal. 

According to Rajith fans, Mohanlal did not stand by justice as an anchor. The actor's Facebook page has been flooded with derogatory comments, holding him responsible for the exit of Rajith. In fact, the actor has been abused on his latest Facebook video which was to create awareness about the coronavirus outbreak in the state. 

Meanwhile, a section of netizens feels that Rajith’s eviction is justified. Few others feel that the show should equally take the blame as the current season's tasks are fashioned to provoke contestants by bringing their wild side.
