Kaajal Pasupathi was one of the few actresses who gained recognition after participation in 'Bigg Boss' season one hosted by Kamal Haasan.  She has acted in several films starting with Kamal Haasan's 'Vasooraja MBBS' and was last seen in a comedic role in Sundar C's laugh riot 'Kalakalappu 2'.

It is a known fact that Kaajal fell in love and was briefly married to dance choreographer and 'Bigg Boss 4' contestant Sandy and they divorced amicably. In 2017 Sandy got married to Dorothy Sylvia and the couple have a daughter and are expecting their second child.

Kaajal who remained single for a long time has made the sudden reveal that she got engaged and is getting married in a week's time.  Her followers on Twitter are posting congratulatory messages and she has thanked them.  

As Kajal is keeping the identity of her bridegroom in suspense and has promised to reveal who he is only on the day of her wedding, netizens are also doubting its a prank.  It is pointed out that the same message that she has posted is doing the rounds on the internet and allege that she has copy-pasted it to prank her followers.  Whether it's a  prank or the truth will be known soon.
