Maria Juliana aka Julie came to the limelight after her bubbly slogan raising in the Jallikattu issue in January 2017 which served her the ticket to participate in 'Bigg Boss' season one that brought her worldwide recognition. She is now acting in a couple of movies as heroine.

Julie however has been on the receiving end of trolls as she was seen as a fake person on the 'Bigg Boss' show. A couple of day it was reported that Julie and her boyfriends were involved in an altercation with a police constable in Vepery and they beat him up. She has since denied any involvement in the issue but her social media followers have reportedly been abusing her with foul words and language.

Julie has released a video in which she has gotten highly emotional asking her trollers why they dont consider a Tamil girl like her as their sisters. She owns up to lying on the show but challenges those who never lied to troll her. Julie has also emphasized that she has never been the cause of anyone or their families being affected in any way and no one incurs any financial loss due to her.

Julie finishes off by stating that she is minding her own business and making a livelihood and thanks those who criticize her in a civil way which helps her to correct herself.
