Post Jallikattu protests and a participation in the hit reality TV show Bigg Boss, Julie has become a household name among the Tamil people. Now much to the merriment of fans, details of her very first film appearance has been revealed.

Vimal’s much awaited movie is ‘Mannar Vagera’ for which Boopathy Pandian has wielded the megaphone. Reportedly Julie will be acting in an important role in the film. No doubt this is exciting as this would be her very first movie releasing.

‘Mannar Vagera’ also has an ensemble cast that includes Anandhi, Chandhini Tamilarasan, Saranya Ponvannan, Nasser and Robo Shankar as well. The film is being bankrolled by Vimal himself and was set for a festive Pongal release. However, there are talks that the release may be moved to a later date depending on the availability of theatres.
