Sohel's dream of debuting in movies as a male lead has taken off. Less than a week after he became the third runner-up of the fourth edition of Bigg Boss, the TV actor has bagged an emotional romantic drama, which will be helmed by Srinivas Vinjanampati.

The untitled flick, which was announced on Thursday, will be bankrolled by Appi Reddy of ‘George Reddy’ and ‘Pressure Cooker’ fame. The plan is to start the shoot in February.

Sohel, who became the first contestant in the history of Telugu Bigg Boss to pull himself out voluntarily in the grand finale in return for Rs 25 lakh, must be on cloud nine. He is also in the good books of Megastar Chiranjeevi, who has promised him that he will do a cameo should he (Sohel) produce a movie.

During his stint in the Bigg Boss house, Sohel was known for staging vein-popping outbursts. Hope his immense talent for flaunting his veins will be tapped into by the filmmakers. Only Tollywood can do that.
