Veteran writer - director-actor Yugi Sethu made his debut in 1987 with the Amala-Nasser starrer 'Kavithai Paada Neramillai' and after five years made 'Maadhangal Ezhu' with Ramya Krishnan, Nasser and himself in the lead. After that he has mainly concentrated on acting (Kamal's 'Panchathandhiram', Vijayakanth's 'Ramanaa') and television anchoring ('Nayandi Darbar). The Adyar Film Institute alumni has served as screenwriter for two Thala Ajith movies, 'Villain' and 'Asal'.

Yugi Sethu has returned as director after 27 years for a new movie starring Ganesh Venkatraman of 'Bigg Boss' season one fame and the duo are location hunting in London. Ganesh has shared a pic and captioned it "With my super talented director Yugi Sethu sir! I have been a huge fan of his writing & comedy.. And now finally working with him is a huge learning experience". The rest of the cast and crew details will be out soon.
