It has been a week since the grand launch of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5. Kamal Haasan returned as a host for the fifth time. 18 contestants from different walks of life were selected this year and were sent into the house on October 3. In the first weekend episode of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5, Kamal Haasan revealed that Namitha Marimuthu had walked out of the show due to unavoidable circumstances.

Housemates are heading for the first nomination process this week and the first promo of the day was dropped a few minutes ago. Looks like the game has just started. Gana singer Isaivani seems to have got few votes for the nomination flowered by Abinay Vaddi and Akshara.

According to twitter's predictions, the elimination process for the forthcoming week will be cancelled as Namitha walked out of the show leaving 17 contestants in the house. But as Kamal says "expect the unexpected" we will have to wait to witness what happens in the show.

The 17 contestants of the Bigg Boss season five includes Isaivani, Raju Jeyamohan, Mathumitha, Abishek Raaja, Priyanka Deshpande, Abhinay Vaddi, Pavni Reddy, Folk singer Chinnaponnu, Nadia Chang, Varun Kama, Imman Annaachi, Suruthi Jayadevan, Akshara Reddy, Iykki Berry, Thamarai Selvi, Ciby and Niroop.
