Bigg Boss Malayalam season 3 contestant Dimpal Bhal's father Satyavir Singh Bhal passed away on Tuesday evening in Delhi. Reportedly, he was suffering from fever for the past few days and was admitted to a private hospital after his health condition worsened. The news regarding the same was confirmed by former Bigg Boss contestants Lakshmi Jayan and Majisiya Bhanu. In an interview with TOI, Dimpal's best friend in the Bigg Boss house, Majiziya Bhanu shared her concern on how Dimpal will face this news.

"Yes, the news is true. Papa passed away. He was suffering from a fever for a couple of days. There is a doubt whether he was having COVID, so the family is waiting for the test results. Dimpal's mother and sister Thinkal are on their way to Delhi and her friends have reached Chennai to inform Dimpal. About Dimpal's exit, they are waiting to get an update from their mother and sister after they reach Delhi. I am concerned about how Dimpal will take this news. She was very attached to her Pappa, he was her pillar of strength. May God give her the courage to handle the situation," Majiziya said.

Dimpal, a psychologist and a cancer survivor, is one of the strongest contestants of Bigg Boss Malayalam 3. In the Vishu special episode, Dimpal's father and sister were seen wishing her through a video.
