The exciting news was officially announced by the makers through a captivating motion poster captioned “The boys are back,” reuniting the duo who captured hearts with their strong friendship during Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3.
The yet-to-be-titled project, tentatively referred to as Kavin 09, is being produced by Think Studios under producer Swaroop Reddy. It marks the directorial debut of Ken Royson, known for his work on viral music videos like Katchi Sera and the web series Kana Kaanum Kaalangal. The film blends fantasy, romance, and comedy, exploring themes of life presenting opportunities and the importance of seizing them before they pass by.
Kavin leads the cast, paired opposite Priyanka Mohan (Priyanka Arul Mohan) as the female lead — marking their first on-screen collaboration. Sandy joins in a key supporting role, adding his signature energy and charisma to the ensemble. The film is currently in production, with shooting progressing smoothly.
Music is being composed by the talented Ofro (OFRO), whose fresh and youthful sound is expected to elevate the film’s vibe. Other technical crew members and additional cast details will be revealed soon, according to the production team.
