Thalapathy Vijay is now working on 'Thalapathy 68' made by director Venkat Prabhu with an ensemble cast and crew. Produced by AGS Entertainment, the film was shot in Chennai, Thailand and Turkey till now. This project is planned to hit the screens between June to August 2024.

Now, a popular actor is reuniting with Thalapathy Vijay after 18 years in Thalapathy 68. It's none other than Yugendran who recently appeared in the famous TV show Bigg Boss Tamil Season 7. Yugendran, a singer and actor, shared screen space with Vijay earlier in the 2003 blockbuster Thirupaachi. This news is now going viral on social media.

Thalapathy 68 is said to be a sci-fi investigative thriller with Vijay playing dual roles. The star cast boasts Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Vaibhav, Premgi Amaren, Aravind Akash and Ajay Raj. Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose the music with DOP and editing by Siddhartha Nuni and Venkat Raajen respectively.
