Bigg Boss 9 contestants Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary recently shared a picture from a hospital in Chandigarh where they were being treated for dengue. The couple has now revealed that they had tested positive for Covid-19 before they were diagnosed with dengue.
Yuvika apparently informed a news agency that their immunity levels must have have gone down when they had Covid-19, making them susceptible to other infections, including dengue. The couple also said that they had quarantined themselves at home after testing positive for the virus. "Yes, we had Covid-19 last month. I pray no one should go through this. Look, Covid-19 did not give us too much trouble. We were totally asymptomatic. Now, we didn't want to put that we are fine in many ways because some people read actors, or for that matter anybody else, on social media, and blindly start following what they read. Bodies are different, individual cases are therefore different. We isolated ourselves for 21 days and then twice tested to make sure that we are negative before going out- but then, dengue struck." Prince and Yuvika were admitted to the hospital along with Prince's father, his sister, and nephew. Prince reportedly said, "We are still in hospital in Chandigarh. But we are much better, today, for sure. We expect and hope to be discharged tomorrow."
Prince and Yuvika, who had met and fell in love with each other during Salman Khan's TV reality show Bigg Boss 9, have been married for two years now. Yuvika had earlier talked about her love story in an interview with a news agency. "We were strangers inside the Bigg Boss house. While Prince developed a strong liking for me at the beginning of our stay, I wanted to take some time. We fell in love much after the show ended. I even told him inside the house that if he is trying to be pally with me for the ratings, I am the wrong girl," she had reportedly said.
