Bigg Boss 7 contestant Gauhar Khan recently announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Zaid Darbar. A source close to the couple has informed an entertainment portal that Gauhar and Zaid are all set to tie the knot on Christmas day this year.

According to the report, the couple will be getting married in a private ceremony in Mumbai. Following their engagement on November 5, Gauhar and Zaid took a trip to Dubai. They shared several pictures on their social media accounts where they were seen hanging out with Gauhar's elder sister Kausar Khan. Sharing a picture of the couple on her Instagram story, Kausar wrote, "When the love birds come flying to me. I love you both." Speaking about the couple's union, Zaid Darbar's father and Bollywood composers Ismail Darbar reportedly said, "Since I am a father, it is obvious that I would bring a daughter-in-law too. Gone are those days when parents would look for a daughter-in-law, now our children just say 'daddy, I like this girl,' and we have to listen to them and support their choice. So, I don't have any problem with my son and daughter-in-law. My children aren't that much open with me. If Zaid comes and tells me that he wants to get married, then I will get them married."

Apart from being known for winning the 7th season of the popular TV reality show, Bigg Boss, hosted by Salman Khan, Gauhar Khan has also appeared in the Bollywood movies Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year , Ishaqzaade, Fever, and Begum Jaan.
