Social activist Namitha Marimuthu became the first transgender to participate in the Tamil version of 'Bigg Boss' in season 5. In the first few days of the show she impressed viewers and many had hopes that she would give tough competition to the others till the end.
Unfortunately Namitha's stay at the 'Bigg Boss 5' house was cut short due to medical reasons and she walked out in the first week itself. Sources said that she had to be hospitalized due to complications arising from depression and was on rest for more than a week.
After exiting 'Bigg Boss 5', Namitha has posted a video on social media in which she is seen distributing clothes to the children of roadside dwellers. She herself helps the little ones wear their new dresses and her followers have lauded her for the gesture.
It is said that the 'Bigg Boss 5' team is planning to reintroduce Namitha in to the house at an appropriate time in the future and her fans are hoping to see her contest again as well.
