Bigg Boss 5: Names of contestants revealed

The fifth season of Bigg Boss Telugu is on. On Sunday, host Akkineni Nagarjuna introduced its 19 contestants.
As has been rumoured by the media, the list includes the likes of Shanmukh Jaswanth, anchor Ravi, and Siri Hanumanth. Singer Sreeram Chandra, small-time actor Maanas, TV performer Vishwa, character artists Priya and Uma Devi, starlet Swetha Varma (who was recently seen in 'MAD'), Hamida (a budding acting talent), choreographers Anee and Natraj, Internet star Sarayu, Priyanka Singh, YouTube star RJ Kajal, VJ Sunny, Lobo, Jaswant Padala, and Lahari are in the Bigg Boss house.
Like last year, this year too has got several unfamiliar names. When the show started, the likes of Amma Rajasekhar were barely known. But they went on to win the viewers' hearts. This year, youngsters know of the likes of Jaswanth, Ravi and Siri. However, most of the others are not familiar faces. Priya and Uma Devi are recognized by a lot of cine-goers although their names are unknown to most. RJ Kajal made her name as a video reviewer of movies at IndiaGlitz for several years.
