The 'Bigg Boss' reality show's Tamil version like all its other cousins is super popular amongst television audiences. The show enjoyed one of the highest ever TRP ratings for all the four seasons that have concluded so far. There are huge expectations riding on the fifth edition with fans wondering when the shows would start airing and who the contestants are.

From time to time there have been leaks of the alleged list of contestants who are likely to participate in 'Bigg Boss 5'. The latest one suggests that 'Cooku With Comali 2' winner Kani and her co-contestants Sunitha and Baba Bhaskar are in talks.

Other names that are doing the rounds are 'Sarpatta Parambarai' Daddy fame John Vijay, Ramya Krishnan, Mynaa Nandhini, News anchor Kanmani, M.S.Bhaskar, Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, Tik Toker G.P. Muthu and Shakeela's daughter Mika are all the names in the unconfirmed list. According to sources from the television industry set work for the show is likely to begin in the third week of August.

If the coronavirus situation gets better than what it is 'Bigg Boss 5' will reach the homes of Vijay TV audiences by the end of September or early October. There is bound to be a lot more shuffling and more surprises in the contestant list. Let's wait and watch.
