The police are searching for actor Abhinav Vaddi's wife Aparna, after she suddenly went missing following a complaint by a college girl. The audio conversation between the accused and the victim has gone viral and shocked netizens.

Aparna is the wife of actor Abhinay of 'Bigg Boss 5' fame who is the grandson of legendary actors Gemini Ganesan and Savithri. Aparna owns a textile shop in Chennai and Manju from Mambalam, apparently designs clothes for her. According to the petition Manju had told Aparna that her daughter has passed NEET exams after studying 12th standard and she has not found a college of her choice.

Aparna had then volunteered to her that she has a friend who for the sum of Rs. 20 lakhs will get a seat in the preferred college. In the audio shared to the press Aparna is heard asking the college girl to pay an advance of Rs. 5 lakhs to her friend Ajay's account and stated that no receipt will be given.

After the required amount was transferred to Aparna's friend's account she had given them a certificate in the girl's name that she has been allotted a seat in the said medical college.

When Manju took her daughter to pay the rest of the fees she was in for a huge shock as the college management told them that the certifcate they had was fake and no seat has been allotted. After this, Manju filed a complaint with the Mambalam police and based on this complaint, a case has been registered against Aparna and her friend Ajay under 6 sections.

Aparna after coming to know that the police are after her had shut down and locked the textile shop she owns and went into hiding. The police are on the lookout for her in and around Chennai.
