The 'Bigg Boss' reality show has garnered a sizeable viewer base for its Tamil version mainly due to the legendary Kamal Haasan hosting it. The past three seasons have been big time winners with the TRP hitting the sky and many stars have been made including Oviya, Kavin, Sandy, Riythvika, Cheran, Yashikaa Anand,, Sakshi Agarwal and Vanitha Vijayakumar.

There is huge expectations as to when 'Bigg Boss 4' will start the telecast but there is a shadow of doubt whether it can be possible this year due to the lockdown restrictions in Tamil Nadu and the reluctance of stars to venture out when COVID 19 is still rampant.

Meanwhile the Telugu version of 'Bigg Boss 4' is on track to begin airing from August or September and Star Maa has even released a promo video that showcasing a new logo. while Nagarjuna hosted the last season it is unknown whether he will reprise this year too or there will be a change.
