The coronavirus lockdown has brought the entertainment industry to a grinding halt and over three lakh workers involved in Tamil cinema are in danger of being pushed into poverty. There have been appealing to the government to give permission for shootings to resume with proper safety measures and as of now, the television shoots have been allowed.

There has been news that Kamal Haasan has given the go-ahead to begin shooting for 'Bigg Boss 4' from September end and it is said that he has initially given the nod for shooting the promos as well.A list of contestants for 'Bigg Boss 4' has surfaced now with young heroines Sunainaa, Ramya Pandian and Athulya Ravi set to participate. It is also said that actor Irfan, actresses Kiran, Vidyulekha Raman and 'Cook With Comali' fame Shivangi and Pugazh among others.

There has been no official communication from Vijay TV either regarding the commencement of 'Bigg Boss 4' or the contestant list. However sources say that the reality show will surely be telecast this year as it is one of the safest and controlled environments.
