The eighties and nineties hero Saravanan after losing his market made a respectable comeback in Ameer's 'Paruthiveeran' in which he played the paternal uncle of Karthi. Saravanan signed on as a contestant in the 'Bigg Boss 3' and impressed viewers with his rural charm and straightforward thinking. However, in one of the episodes, he stated in just that he used to brush against female commuters in his college days. A huge furore rose on social media with feminist activists gunning for him and Saravanan apologized in the confession room.
In an unexpected turn of events, Saravanan was forcefully evicted from the 'Bigg Boss 3' house citing that his inappropriate comments about women are unacceptable by the organizers. Our sources have informed us that Saravanan is in his native Salem and is anguished with the manner in which he was thrown out as he had planned to stay longer and earn some money that would help his family under the current situation.
