The 'Bigg Boss Tamil' season 4 hosted by Kamal Haasan ended earlier this year after a delayed start due to the coronavirus pandemic. Similarly, the Malayalam version of the show hosted by Mohan Lal started airing on February 14th and is underway currently.

Dubbing artiste cum social activist Bhagyalakshmi is one of the key contestants of 'Bigg Boss 3 Malayalam' playing the game quite enthusiastically in spite of her age. A couple of days back Bhagyalakshmi was called into the confession room and was informed that her ex-husband Ramesh passed away due to a prolonged illness.

Bhagyalakshmi then came out of the confession room in a broken state and when the other contestants enquired she told them what exactly happened. When the others consoled her and asked her if she is leaving the house she said that since she is divorced it is a delicate situation for her but requested that she call her sons and ask them to participate in their dad's last journey.

Bhagyalakshmi then shared to the other housemates that Ramesh was suffering from kidney failure and she even offered to donate hers but since he was egoistic he refused to accept her offer.
