At a special event held to launch the promo of Bigg Boss, NTR came across as a confident as well as excited man. Giving honest replies, the superstar said that he didn't know who the contestants are. But he did talk about a lot of interesting stuff.

Here are the highlights of his interaction:

1. I never knew how to behave as a host, how to talk, how to act on TV. I never gave a thought to it. But when Star MAA approached me to host this show, I didn't think for even two minutes.

2. I like challenging myself. I am looking forward for a fantastic experience with this channel, and Bigg Boss. Thanks for the channel for believing that I can host the biggest reality show in Telugu. I thank Raghu for pushing me to take this up.

3. I haven't watched the Hindi show. A girl cousin of mine was once watching the Hindi Bigg Boss in full volume. She was very excited when Salman Khan garu shouted at a contestant. It was only then that I came to know about the show. Many in India have some opinion or the other about 'Bigg Boss'.

4. I want to create a position of my own as a host, rather than follow somebody.

5. This show will definitely be made as per the sensibilities of the Telugu audience.

6. Due to social media, it has become easy to know about others. People want to know about others. This tendency will make this show a big hit.

7. I haven't thought about the remuneration. They have given me enough, but not as much as you think (laughs).

8. From Monday to Friday, contestants alone will be there. It's only on Saturdays and Sundays that the host appears.

9. Everything associated with Bigg Boss is very challenging, as I never hosted a show. It's a learning process.

10. I haven't prepared for the show. Sometimes we don't plan things, but when the moment comes, our whole system responds aptly to the situation.

11. I always liked 'Charlie's Angeles'. I wanted to know who this Charlie is, whether he is energetic or paralyzed, etc. In a small way, Bigg Boss is in similar space in raising such curiosity.

12. I have been asking them as to who the contestants are. But they are not divulging it. This format is about surprises and that's why they have kept it a secret.

13. I want to be myself on Bigg Boss. We are not like the characters in our films. But on this show, I want to be myself.

14. I am sure the Telugu Bigg Boss will be as big as the Hindi Bigg Boss.

15. It's not a serious show. We want to bring to you the fun side of it.

16. You will see me dancing in the show. Definitely, yes!

17. You have to take life as it comes. Anything can happen any time. Until I go there to the show, I don't want to think about it.

18. Shouting at contestants or praising them or eliminating them - these are all not must. There is a misconception that they are mandatory. Elimination is through voting. It's not my calling. It's not like I have to shout at them compulsorily.

19. Negativity is powerful. But positive things take their time to grow on you. They are two sides of the same coin. As human beings, we see the negative side more instantly, at first opportunity.

20. I want to see what my wife tells my son about me after I leave home. (NTR said in a lighter vein).
