The election commission of India has recognised Kamal Haasan's political party Makkal Needhi Maiam and has also approved his flag symbolising the unity of the southern states.  Kamal has flown to Delhi to recieve the registration certificate and his party members are upbeat celebrating the most important day in their political career.

Kamal Haasan will also reportedly meet the Delhi Chief Minister and his freind Arvind Kejriwal.  The young politician and veteran entertainer is proudly flaunting the fact that he is reaching the households of five and a half crore Tamils through his 'Bigg Boss 2' show.  With the Indian government too acknowledging him, Kamal's political rivals would start taking him more seriously from now on according to analysts.
