Former Bigg Boss contestant and Punjabi singer Shahnaz Gill earned a massive fan following after her stint on the 13th season of the popular TV reality show, hosted by Salman Khan.

However, the singer faced a lot of negativity as well, ranging from acid attack threats to morphed videos of her being circulated online. Shehnaz has opened up about the threats and mentioned that all of the negativity only earned her sympathy from her fans and that it did not affect her. "I want to congratulate those who are doing these things. It is not affecting me rather than I think it is giving me more sympathy. These people do not realise that if they say something negative about someone, it only turns into positivity for the other person. People are loving me more," the singer was quoted as saying.

The chemistry shared between Shehnaz and season 13 title winner Sidharth Shukla was much loved by their fans. The duo later featured in the music video of the song "Shona Shona" by Tony Kakkar. Opening up about his experience working with Shehnaz, Sidharth reportedly said, "Working with Shehnaaz has been fabulous. She is a fun-loving person who brings a lot of positive energy! It's been great working with Shehnaaz. Shehnaaz is spontaneous and fun and hence working with her overall lightens the mood."
