Punjabi actress and Bigg Boss 13 contestant Shehnaz Gill's father Santokh Singh has been booked for molesting a woman at gunpoint inside his car.

The incident reportedly happened on May 14 when the complainant, who hails from Jalandhar, visited Singh's house in order to meet her boyfriend who was reportedly staying at his place. When the woman reached his residence, Singh allegedly asked her to get in his car on the pretext of taking her to her boyfriend. However, as soon as they reached the Rohi bridge, Singh took out a gun and sexually assaulted the woman. He also allegedly threatened her of dire consequences if she disclosed the matter to anyone. The victim approached the police on May 15 to register a complaint against Singh. Shehnaz Gill's brother, however, has denied the woman's claims, stating that she was doing this merely to defame his father.

A few weeks ago, Santokh Singh made the headlines after he blamed Shehnaz's co-contestant in Bigg Boss 13, Himanshi Khurrana, of pushing his daughter to attempt suicide. Himanshi had responded to the accusation, stating that if he blamed her for Shehnaz's suicide attempt, he needed to know that his daughter, in fact, had begun the whole controversy and made a mess of herself.
