The TV reality show Bigg Boss is one of the most famous shows watched across the country.

Bigg Boss 13, hosted by Salman Khan, kick started recently, and one of the contestants, Arti Singh, revealed her tragic past to the housemates and the host after being criticized for not performing well in the game show.

Arti later explained how she had been suffering from depression after losing out on roles in movies despite being a celebrated TV serial actress. She explained how she then slipped into depression and also how she was rejected by a potential groom who came to know about her condition. Arti further added that it was her mother's sacrifice that finally helped her get through depression. She mentioned that her mother died to bring her into this world and that she needed to make her life worth it. Arti reportedly stated, "Soon after my brother was born, my mother conceived me. Everyone asked her to abort the baby but she decided to give me birth despite being aware of the complications as she suffered from cancer."

The actress has gained immense support from audience across the country for her courage and resilience.
