The Coronavirus outbreak has affected the whole world, and while economies have fallen, oil prices have turned negative and people are panicked, the showbiz has been affected as well with many production houses in trouble with releases getting postponed.
Reopening of theatres worldwide might not happen anytime soon and even when they re-open, theatres are expected to function with half capacity. Rather than waiting for theatres to reopen, Universal had released its animated movie Trolls World Tour in limited theatres and on digital rental as well simultaneously on April 10.
With the pandemic in large, another top production house Warner Bros has announced its decision to release the animated movie Scoob! directly on-demand. Warner Bros has announced that the Scooby doo movie will be available on May 15 both to rent at a price of $19.99 and to buy in the home at a pricd of $24.99 and the rental period mentioned is 48 hours.
