Just over a year ago, NTR Jr and Krishna Vamsi were at the top.

The young actor, with films like Simhadri, was on a big high.

Krishna Vamsi, on the other hand, was seen as a director who could marry commercial entertainers with gritty stories.

But the year 2005 was a bit of dampener for both.

NTR Jr lost the plot by choosing some hare-brained scripts. Naa Alludu, Narasimhudu were never going to work as they were full of corny cliches.

Krishna Vamsi, for his part, was losing his own form. He was also afflicted by an attack of yips (the filmy equivalent, that is). His Chakram, Sri Anjaneyam, Danger, despite having their moments, did not belong to the top drawer.

In other words, NTR Jr and Krishna Vamsi were sailing on the same boat.

It now transpires that the both might have discovered each other in the same journey on the choppy sea of fortune.

NTR Jr and Krishna Vamsi are coming together for a new movie that will go to the floors by May.

The specifics of the movie are still to be worked out.

Suffice to say, it would be a great opportunity for the two to make a bold statement in a strong comeback.
