This Sankranthi, big bucks are riding on the biggest releases, 'Adhurs' and 'Namo Venkatesa'. With the makers of these films claiming that the films have cost a bomb, it is only understandable that they have greatest stakes running on them. Between these films, the budget is estimated somewhere between Rs. 58-60 cr. Going by the figures doled out by the producers, Adurs cost a whopping Rs. 36 cr., while Namo.. cost Rs. 23 cr.

The films are expected to make grand openings in the state. The makers, thus, thought of releasing the movies in a big way, by taking out high number of prints.

The two movies occupy a great number of theatres too. Since beginning, 'Adhurs' was touted to be releasing in 900 theatres worldwide, but the latest figures are not known. However, 'Namo Venkatesa', releasing with 320 prints, is a wide theatrical bonanza too.

If the films get good talk on the first day, expect them to cross together Rs. 30-35 cr. in the first week. It's very much possible, given that 'Arya2' alone crossed Rs. 12 cr. in the opening week.
