Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in an interesting cameo in Shah Rukh Khan's home-production "Paheli".

According to some media reports, the superstar has not only accommodated the role in his busy schedule, but also declined to accept the remuneration of Rs.10 million that Shah Rukh offered.

The report quoting Bachchan said Shah Rukh gave him an envelope and flowers after the shoot. He assumed it was a thank you note but found that it was a cheque, that too an unsigned one.

Bachchan returned the cheque with a letter saying that he had done the film for emotional reasons and emotions could not be evaluated.

He also offered a word of elderly advice that one should never make the mistake of issuing an unsigned cheque.
