Amitabh Bachchan has been rejected by CPM as the brand ambassador of Kerala Tourism.

The Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPM) has said that Amitabh is already appointed as Brand Ambassador of tourism in Gujarat and the Left Front Government in Kerala must not have him as the Brand Ambassador.

Sitaram Yechury, CPM Polit Bureau Member, told that the central leadership of CPM does not like the idea of having Amitabh Bachan as the brand ambassador.

Big B who was in Kerala for few events, answered in a TV interview that he would like to become Kerala tourism's brand ambassador. As good as it can be, Kerala Tourism wrote to him and they received a positive answer.

While the Kerala Tourism Minister agrees that quite a few people have expressed their displeasure in choosing Amitabh as the tourism ambassador, he told nothing has been confirmed yet. He also added that opposition from the main CPM office in Delhi was quite a big surprise to all them.

Big surprises or not, Big B wouldn’t want to be rejected and then dejected.
