Amitabh Bachchan was awared the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 4th Asian Film Awards in Hong Kong on 22nd March 2010, Monday. With this, Big B has a tally of 9 Lifetime Achievement awards that he has received over the period from various organizations.

After receiving the award, the humble Big B in his acceptance speech told the audience that it was not only a recognition of his talent but also in recognition of India. The organizers of the event expressed happiness as well and added that, there was no one more deserving than Amitabh.

Amitabh was also caught quoting that he has no plans to retire. He said, as long as he is healthy he will work, as many people wished to work with him.

All one can think of is the Shahenshah’s rule, no would even dream of his retirement. Long Live the Big B!
