The legendary star would soon be the face of GujaratÂ
Yesterday, Amitabh Bahchcan had been there to promote his film ÂPaaÂ. But the actor had been so impressed with GujaratÂs development, that he felt the urge to promote the State hereon.
Mr. Bachchan reported to have in fact offered GujaratÂs Chief Minister Narendra Modi to make him the brand ambassador for Gujarat. ÂThere are lots of good things in Gujarat which should be promoted. I am ready to give my voice and face for the promotion of Gujarat tourism, stated Amitabh.
The actor, who had held a special screening of ÂPaa for Modi at a multiplex in Gandhinagar, said that the film deals with many sensitive issues and he wishes Gujarat government to make the film tax free. ÂWe organised the screening of 'Paa' so that the film which is based on subject of a physically challenged child gets tax exemption, said Big B to the media.
He further said that there are numerous such children in the country but in the film they have not tried to portray the child as a pitiful character. He felt these children are normal kids and they should be treated like any other child.
