A biopic on former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy 20 months regime in the coalition government with BJP in the past is the area of interest for producer Babu Reddy.

The grand launch for Bhumiputra` is taking place on Monday at National College grounds with thousands of people attending the launch. Tamil action King Arjun (Arjun Sarja to Kannada people) is donning the role of former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy. The Mudalavan` who played single day chief minister is now on 20 months life sketch of former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy in which the most striking element was Grama Vasthavya` – HD Kumaraswamy staying at ordinary villager home for one night and inquiring on their life.

Meanwhile the controversy related to the title Bhumiputra` has been cleared. Dodmane Venkatesh who also belongs to JDS political party has given the title what he has registered two years ago because of HD Kumraswamy.
