It's known that 'Bhaagamathie' has been sought to be remade in Hindi. The Telugu-language horror-thriller was a big hit last year and its box-office performance proved that the 'Baahubali' actress is a crowd-pulling superstar in her own right.

Who is going to reprise her role in the Hindi remake? Reports say that Bollywood actress Bhumika Pednekar will do the honours. G Ashok, the Tollywood director who wielded the megaphone for the Telugu original, will be the helmer. The director has had to give up a number of offers in Telugu to be able to direct the remake.

To be shot from December or so, the remake will largely follow the same template as its Telugu counterpart. Some changes will be made, keeping in view Bhumi's image. Unlike Anushka, she is no star actress.
