A doctor in Bhopal on coronavirus duty has been living in his car for nearly a week in order to prevent his family from potential infection of the virus.
The doctor, identified as Sachin Nayak, has been working at the JP Hospital in Bhopal and has turned his car parked near the hospital into his makeshift home, and has stocked it up with essential items and books. He reportedly reads books during his spare time and talks to his family via phone calls/video calls. "When coronavirus cases started being reporting in Bhopal, I was not so afraid but over the last few days we have seen positive cases in large numbers so I have decided to stay in the car," Dr. Nayak reportedly said.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has appreciated Dr. Nayak after his picture went viral on social media. "I and the entire Madhya Pradesh greet warriors like you who are fighting the war against Corona. If we all continue with this resolve, then we will be able to win this great war more quickly. Sachin ji, salute your spirit," his tweet read.
