Ordinary movie fame Sugeeth is directing the upcoming entertainer Shikkari Shambu which stars Kunchacko Boban, Sshivada, Hareesh Kanaran and Vishnu Unnikrishnan in major roles. As the movie's core plot is set in a fictional village 'Kuruthimalakavu' located at the heart of the beautiful Idamalayar and Bhoothathankettu, the Shikkari Shambu team has been shooting in the regions for nearly three months now.

Thanks to the superb location selection, as it has now become a favourite destination among the tourists. The continuous shooting for nearly three months has attracted large number of visitors. This has indeed breathed a new life to the tourism sector in the region.

In the upcoming movie Kunchako Boban, Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Harish Kanaran play tiger hunters. Shikkari Shambu also stars directors Aji John, Johny Antony in crucial roles. Director Aji John of Hotel California fame makes his acting debut by playing a prominent role in Shikkari Shambu which also stars directors Johny Antony and Samudrakani in crucial roles. Like Sugeeth’s previous films, Shikkari Shambu is also a full on fun entertainer, which appeals to audience of all age groups. 

Nishad Koya has scripted the movie. Faisal Ali is cranking the camera and Sreejith Edavana is handling the music department. Doha based businessman Lawrence is producing this movie under the banner of Lawrence Angel Maria Films.
