Nothing can be more ironic in the case of Bhoomika. The debonair actress is balanced in real-life, holding reasonable and rational views on everything. She is married to extraordinary yoga-guru Bharat Takhur in real life.

On the screen, she has played unsound woman in, not one, but two films. After she won critical appreciation for her portrayal of a mentally dilapidated character in Simhadri, she has tried her hand for the second time doing a similar kind of role in her latest film Amaravathi.

It may be remembered that she played a psychotic character in Missamma for which she won unprecedented critical appreciation.

It is because Bhoomika Chawla is a rare actress in Telugu who can do complex roles of this nature that directors rely on her, time and again.
