Actor Jayam Ravi started the year 2014 with 'Nimirndhu Nil' a critically acclaimed and commercial successful film. The actor's next that is getting ready for a project is a long delayed one but it promises to be an important film in the tall and handsome actor's career.
It is 'Bhooloham' directed by debutante Kalyana Krishnan who has assisted and worked as a co-writer in director S.P.Jananthan's films. The film marks the reunion of Ravi and Trisha after their successful pairing up in 2006 hit film 'Something Something Unakkum Enakkum'.
The film revolves around a Boxer living in North Chennai. He has put on 15 kgs to suit the role of a boxer. Ravi plays the boxer while Trisha plays not just his arm candy but also a boxing analyst who guides her beau to win his opponents.
Hollywood actor Nathan Jones has been roped in to play the boxer opponent of Jayam Ravi while Prakash Raj is there as the cunning villain who deceives innocent people for his gains. Music has been scored by Srikanth Deva and the famous 'Masana Kollai' festival has been Picturised one of the songs which is touted to be one of the added attractions for the film. The film has been in the making for more than three years and the director points to the extent of CG works in the film as the reason for delay.
'Bhooloham' has been produced by Aascar V.Ravichandran under the Aascar Films banner at a whopping budget of rupees 25 crores.
'Booloham' is releasing amid huge positive buzz on December 24, 2015. This will be the next Jayam Ravi starrer to hit the screens after the blockbuster and the unanimously praised 'Thani Oruvan'.
