As the Covid-19 situation appears to be getting better, Bollywood filmmakers have once again started to strategize the release of their upcoming films in order to avoid clashes with each other. Makers of Kartik Aaryan's 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2' have decided to postpone the release for two months in order to avoid clash with SS Rajamauli's 'RRR'.

The film was supposed to release on 25th of March 2022 but according to the latest announcement, it'll now hit the theatres on 20th of May 2022. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “'BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2' SHIFTS TO A NEW DATE... #BhoolBhulaiyaa2 - which was slated for release on 25 March 2022 - will now arrive in *cinemas* on a new date: 20 May 2022... Stars #KartikAaryan, #KiaraAdvani and #Tabu... NEW RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCEMENT..."

This announcement came soon after the makers of 'RRR' announced 25th of March as the release date for their much anticipated project. The official Twitter outlet of the film shared a new poster with the caption, "#RRRonMarch25th, 2022... FINALISED! #RRRMovie."

'RRR' is a fictional historical drama which stars Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Ajay Devgan, Alia Bhatt among others while 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2' is a horror comedy helmed by Anees Bazmee and it stars Tabu and Kiara Advani apart from Kartik Aaryan.
