Police say that the body of Bhojpuri star Amrita Pandey was found in her home in Bhagalpur, Bihar, on April 27. It is thought that the 27-year-old man killed himself, but probes are still going on because no suicide note was found. Before she died, she wrote a vague WhatsApp status that hinted at her problems.
Her family told her that she was depressed because she was having trouble with her job and couldn't find work. Amrita was getting help for her sadness. She lived in Mumbai with her husband, Chandramani Jhangad.
On April 18, she went to Bhagalpur for her sister's wedding and stayed there while her husband went back to Mumbai. Amrita is known for her parts in Bhojpuri films, Hindi films, TV shows, and web series. She had a leading role in "Deewanapan" with Khesari Lal Yadav and won praise for her work in the web series "Parishodh."
Shri Raj, the superintendent of police for the city, promised a full probe. Family members are currently being questioned. More steps are being taken to figure out what happened that tragically killed Amrita.
