Bheeshma has done amazingly well at the box office and has done more than the expectations. The Nithiin and Rashmika Mandanna starrer, which released on February 21, is a film that has eyes by many filmmakers from other languages.

Sources have replied that Bollywood director and producer Karan Johar has shown interest in remaking this film in Hindi. Karan has bagged the Hindi remake rights of Bheeshma, and it will be produced under his banner Dharma Productions, and it will go on floors very soon.

Sources say Karan Johar was very impressed by Bheeshma’s storyline, and its win at the box office proves even better things for a Hindi remake. Karan has laid his eyes on Telugu film industry long back and finally, he has got something big in hand.

The Bheeshma Hindi remake will reportedly star Ranbir Kapoor, and an official announcement on the same is awaited.

It would be nice to see Ranbir doing this film, and the role, as he has some humour in his performance and he definitely needs a hit at this time of his career.

While Venky Kudumula has directed the film in Telugu, it is not yet known who will be taking up this project in Hindi.
