'Bheemla Nayak' is not skipping the Sankranthi 2022 release. The Pawan Kalyan-starrer will invariably hit the screens on January 12, Sithara Entertainments today confirmed.

This reconfirmation comes in a unique backdrop. After 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' and 'Radhe Shyam' confirmed their release in the first half of January, Mahesh Babu's 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' was postponed to Summer. But Power Star has held his ground.

It's said that 'Bheemla Nayak' is going to compete with 'Radhe Shyam', the Prabhas' starrer, because its genre is winsome. Trivikram and Pawan are confident of minting the moolah despite the competition from two pan-India movies.

Three songs from the movie are out so far. 'Laala Bheemla' has been a huge hit. Nithya Menen is romancing Power Star in the movie. Directed by Saagar K Chandra, its music is by Thaman. The other day, the 'Vakeel Saab' actor wrote a note to cinematographer Ravi K Chandran appreciating his work on the movie. Rana Daggubati has a key role.
